I left jogja to Karimunjawa holiday resort. I had to stay some nights in Jepara during the holy days of idul fitri, end of fasting. There were no ferries during Idul Fitri.

there was a noisy march on the streets, with kids rhythmically beating plastic barrels with generators and loud muezzin as background noise
